We don’t gamble! We don’t trade!! We don’t speculate!!!
We invest.

For how long?
Not a day, not a week, not a month, not a year.

5 years is a good target,
Longer is better,
Investing in stocks that you’ll never want to sell is the best.

Who am I?

I'm not a professional financial advisor. I am just a guy who's been studying the stock market, developing an understanding of humankind and their motivations, and how such motivations could determine the direction of stocks over the short to long terms.

I’ve made a lot of pretty good calls and a few bad calls over the last 7 years, irrespective of how the calls turn out, you can be sure that I’ll be honest with you.

I am not a day trader; heck no, I am not a trader. I check my portfolio maybe twice or thrice a day. I am committed to buy-and-hold strategies. I rarely buy a stock unless I’m prepared to hold it for 10 years.

When I do make a speculative play on a stock with the intention of selling it in the short term, I will only buy with an amount of money that I am prepared to lose.

I can't promise you that my positions will always be right, but they'll always be logical. Hopefully, my thoughts will get you started in your research on what stocks to buy, hold, or sell.

I have an exciting day job that has me working at the intersection of emerging technologies, communications, and growth. I won’t be available to respond immediately to your questions/comments, but you can be sure that I will eventually respond.

I am on a journey to financial freedom and stocks happen to be one of the wheels taking me on that journey. If financial freedom happens to be one of your goals, I invite you to come along for the ride.

What can you expect?

My posts are typically no-frills, straight to the point, unpretentious ideas on stocks and the general stock market. I’ll occasionally include some charts with those tiny squiggly lines, but you can be sure that they won’t confuse, obfuscate, or stress you.

If you are primarily interested in technical stock analysis with Fibonacci sequences, Stochastic Oscillator, and such stuff - I’m afraid my posts will probably sound too simplistic for you.

If you need Google’s help to know the meaning of Triple Exponential Moving Average Oscillator (TRIX) and still want to invest in stocks, you are in the right place.
